USA, Dubai, cruise – This is where the RWE and MSV pros relax.

The first three German professional leagues are taking a break while the 2022 World Cup is underway in Qatar. RS took a look at how the third division pros from RWE and MSV are spending the time.

Nowadays it’s not difficult to look up what the players of your favourite club do in their free time – where they spend their holidays.

Provided: The fan favourites also have an Instagram account. As a rule, 70 to 80 percent of the players in the respective squad have their own account.

This also applies to players from Rot-Weiss Essen and MSV Duisburg. RevierSport took a look at Instagram and the players’ Stories.

Essen’s second man behind Jakob Golz, Felix Wienand, for example, is enjoying a few days on a cruise ship. The last stop Wienand marked as a location was Las Palmas in Spain.

Felix Götze, meanwhile, spent a few hours in the Netherlands. Erolind Krasniqi moved back home to Hamburg. Winger Isaiah Young is also back home, in the USA. His Insta-story shows that he recently watched a game in the NBA. Probably the duel between Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies.

The MSV pros, except for Kolja Pusch, who was or still is in Augsburg, rather preferred the sun. Tobias Fleckstein is on the Canary Island of Tenerife. Marvin Senger is also at the seaside with his girlfriend, but he did not specify the location. The same goes for Marvin Ajani, who is relaxing on a sunny island with his wife and child.

Fellow defender Leroy Kwadwo, meanwhile, is on holiday close to the World Cup venue Doha. Namely in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. Perhaps Kwadwo will also drop by during the World Cup.

Both the RWE and the MSV pros have to report to their clubs again from 7 December. That’s when the preparation phase for the 2023 round begins.
