MSV Duisburg will hold a training camp in Turkey in January. 750 tickets have already been sold for the upcoming away game against TSG Hoffenheim II.
MSV Duisburg will hold its winter training camp in Belek, Turkey, to prepare for the second half of the 3rd Division season. The club announced this on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the Zebras will depart for Turkey on January 3, 2026. MSV will hold its training sessions at the Titanic Football Center, and two friendly matches are also planned. However, the opponents have not yet been determined. On January 10, 2026, the team will fly back to Duisburg.
Just eight days later, the first match of the second half of the season in the 3. Liga is already on the schedule. On Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., Duisburg will travel to Großaspach to face VfB Stuttgart’s reserve team. For their first home game of the new year, MSV will then host SSV Jahn Regensburg on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
But before the 3. Liga leaders head into the winter break and then the second half of the season, they still have five league matches to play before the end of the calendar year. On Friday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m., following the international break, MSV Duisburg will face TSG Hoffenheim’s reserve team on the road.
About 750 MSV fans have already secured tickets for the away game against the seventh-place team. Advance ticket sales at the Zebra Shop in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena will continue until Wednesday, November 19, at 3:00 p.m. According to the club, however, there will also be a box office at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion on game day for last-minute ticket buyers.
Following the Hoffenheim match, the team will face Alemannia Aachen in a West German derby. The match will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Duisburg’s Wedaustadion.
